Directions:
Marinate Salmon Fillet: Sprinkle salmon fillet with James Gang Salmon & Trout Rub, gently rub into salmon fillet on both side. Mix lemon juice, olive oil and garlic in a shallow dish. Place fish (skin side up) in the dish. Marinate for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare Cedar Grilling Plank:
Soak plank in water 1-2 hours. Place plank on preheated grill at medium heat for 5 minutes. Lightly coat top of plank with vegetable Oil.
Grill Salmon: Place seasoned fish on plank (fish skin side down) and close grill lid. Maintain temperature at 350F for approximately 20-30 minutes or until fish is opaque and flakes in large chunks.
**Tips: Keep grill lid closed, check for flare-up occasionally. Douse any flare-up with squirt bottle filled with water. Lower grill temperature if excess flare-ups occur. After use, clean cedar plank with soap & warm water – rinse and dry. Use only once for outdoor use. |
