"Gianduia"(pronounced Gee-on-do-yu). In Italian the word means a mixture of chocolate and hazelnuts. Crabtree & Co. uses the best ingredients including our famous Oregon hazelnuts to make their waffle mix, gives you these rich nutty flavored waffle in the country.
Directions:
Put the Hazelnut Waffle Mix in a mixing bowl. Add 2/3 cup hazelnut oil, 4 eggs and 2 cup of water into the bowl. Mix unitl smooth.
Heat waffle iron while mix thickens in 2-5 minutes. Spoon batter onto hot waffle iron and cook until done.
Top with melted Gianduia Chocolate Hazelnut Spread & serve hot with your favorite syrup.
