Gourmet Recipe
Zesty Crab Melts
Ingredients: (4 servings)

  • 1/2 cup chopped cooked artichoke hearts
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 2/3 cup sliced green onion, divided
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tsp. grated lemon zest
  • 4 large oval slices sourdough french bread, toasted
  • 8 oz. Tony's Dungeness Crab Meat
  • 6 oz. Tillamook Sharp Cheddar Cheese, sliced

 

Directions:

In medium bowl, combine Tony's Dungeness Crab Meat, artichoke hearts, red bell peppers, all but 2 tablespoons green onions, mayonnaise, sour cream and lemon zest; mix well. Spread over bread slices.

Arrange cheese slices over crab mixture to cover. Place sandwiches on baking sheet.

Place under broiler until cheese softens, about 2 minutes.

Sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons green onion. Serve hot.
