"When I was nine years old, I was lucky enough to be part of a children's cooking class. This opportunity was not only fun, but it also felt glamorous. (I imagined future, lovely dinner parties.) That class inspired a love of baking and a brownie - a very fudgy brownie that I perfected over the years in my mother's kitchen. It became a favorite of family and friends and my signature recipe which I kept secret and always brought out for holidays, special occasions and as gifts. I graduated from law school and was practicing law in Chicago before I realized that I really wanted to follow my heart and do what I love. That was the beginning of Blissful Brownies! Five years later Blissful Brownies continues to be my passion, and I believe my original recipes are the best. They are fudgy, unusually delicious and handmade in small batches using the highest quality ingredients and are beautifully packaged."
