Pat Wojciechowski Knives:
Pat Wojciechowski of Milwaukie, Oregon, is a blacksmith and craftsman who's committed to an old-world style. Pat uses a freehand style of blade forging, works with 01 high-carbon machine steel as the primary steel, and double tempers the blades using a different heat treatment and finishes them by sanding the top surface and leaving his hand-forged hammer marks that show the true art of his craft. The handles are hand crafted from locally found Northwest hardwoods and finished with Bioshield oil. Pat's forge is fueled by charcoal he makes himself from repurposed pallets and wood trimmings from his neighbors.
The care of this knife is quite simple. The blade is forged using steel, not stainless steel, and could rust. Simply wash and dry the knife after each use.
